Peer education on real-life harm reduction.
Overdose prevention, vein care, safer meth use, naloxone, and emotional health and well-being.
We believe that:
- Harm Reduction knowledge has always been something that comes first and foremost from the people it most impacts.
- People deserve harm reduction information in safer, confidential spaces in a non-judgmental manner.
- People who need this information the most might have the most difficulty obtaining it: especially due to the stigma around substance use, mental illness, sexual orientation, gender identity, race and ethnicity, and/or other social barriers.
We offer:
- Provide the real-life, responsive harm reduction information people need in a private, safer space: safer injection training, supplies and how to use them, self-advocacy, and so much more.
- A weekly Safer Meth Use Drop-in on Tuesdays specifically for people who use methamphetine and are trying to decrease their risks of BBIs and negative physical or emotional side-effects.
