ANKORS’ services and programs will be modeled on the principles of Harm Reduction.*
ANKORS will provide support, advocacy, prevention, education information, and volunteer networking opportunities in partnership with community stakeholders.

ANKORS’ programs are based on the belief that services are provided in a non-judgmental manner without prejudice that ensures individuals right to anonymity and confidential access.
ANKORS will actively challenge the social and political constructs that contribute to the spread of HIV and AIDS.
* Harm Reduction means taking action to reduce the harmful effects of a behaviour, without requiring people to abstain from (stop doing) the behaviour.
